Spring shares available!

Maybe the calendar says spring is coming, and maybe the groundhogs did too, but the sprouts of spring in Michigan are still months away.   How about some local produce preserved by freezing to tide you over until those spring crops arrive?  After reviewing the freezer inventory it looks like we still have enough local goodies like blueberries, strawberries, peaches, sweet corn, green vegetables and tomatoes to offer a limited number of spring shares.  The spring share will be a one-time pick-up during the 3rd week of March, similar in variety and quantity to the winter’s monthly shares (7 different items, 3 or 4 fruits and/or 3 or 4 veggies).   The March share is offered as a share extension to current members for $43, and as a spring special for new members for $50 (a discount from buying a la carte.)   Those coming to the Ann Arbor Farmers Market on Saturday March 19th to get their share will also have a choice to try a gourmet goodie such as frozen blackberries, stewed tomatillos, bok choy, sunshine kabocha squash puree, or hot peppers.  We will also still have the other convenient pick-up locations of Morgan & York and the Corner Brewery available.  Hope you will sign up today!
