The spring equinox is upon us, and our thoughts turn to ……defrosting the freezers! Our winter (December – March) CSA is completed but there are still enough locally grown frozen fruits and vegetables from last year’s harvest remaining in the freezers to offer a limited number of Spring Shares. The Spring Share is available as an extension to our current winter CSA members and to new folks who just want to give our CSA a one-month try. Spring Shares are $50 and will be available at the Saturday Ann Arbor Farmers Market during the month of April, or if ordered online, shares can be picked up at your convenience at Morgan & York and the Washtenaw Food Hub after April 11.
This year’s spring share includes: blueberries, raspberries, peaches, asparagus, butternut squash chunks, peas and whole tomatoes, plus an additional veggie from all the leftover goodies.
