Think global, eat local this spring holiday season! How about some blueberry muffins for Easter brunch made with Michigan frozen blueberries, or a matzah lasagna with Michigan frozen tomatoes? Maybe a veggie-barley bake with an Easter ham? We’ll be at the Ann Arbor Farmers market on Saturday, April 23, 8 am – 1:30 pm. The Locavorious winter CSA is complete, but the freezer is not quite empty. What’s left: blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, cauliflower, corn, bok choy, edamame, pumpkin, sweet peppers, sugar snap peas, summer squash medley, whole tomatoes and stewed tomatillos…and only a couple of peaches.
